Hello! Welcome to the KYYSN website. I'm your State Representative for the Young Surveyors Network. I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky in 2019, and from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 2015 with a degree in Physics. I started working at QK4 in 2018 as a intern. I worked through my summers until my graduation when I started full time. Since I have started, I have become a licensed professional Land Surveyor and gained my Engineer in Training license. I am our Lidar Scanning Specialist for Qk4. One of my favorite parts of my job is that I get to spend a lot of time working on very unique job sites and with a lot of cool equipment. Needless to say, I love my job and this profession. I want to help show what a fun and exciting job surveying is and just how rewarding it can be. Surveying has become a huge part of my life and its something I want to show others. It is my goal to help bring in the next generation of surveyors to our great profession.

Hello and welcome to the KYYSN website. My name is Ethan Carr, your Associate Coordinator for the Young Surveyors Network. I earned my Associate of Science in Land Surveying Technology in 2019 and my Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management with a concentration in Land Surveying Technology in 2021 from Glenville State College. I interned with QK4 Engineering for two years before joining full-time after graduation. At QK4, I enjoy working on a variety of field and office projects. I love that surveying allows me to work outdoors, solve problems, and use both hands on and technical skills every day. I want to help show young professionals just how rewarding and exciting a career in surveying can be. Surveying has become a huge part of my life, and my goal is to help bring in the next generation to this great profession.
